Celebrate World smile day with the Newtons family

Today we celebrate the happy day that is ‘World Smile day’ and whilst a big cheesy grin can be the catalyst to having a better day, it is something that unfortunately we tend to do less and less as we age!

Now I know what you’re thinking, ‘I smile all the time?’ However, statistically children smile up to 400 times per day, compared to the average happy adult who only cracks between 40-50 smiles a day and their slightly less joyous peers the ‘typical’ adult, who only smiles up 20 times per day!

We believe that the weight a smile holds is incomparable and aim to have the members of our community smiling as much as possible per day – 400 is the aim of course! Through the creation of a supportive community network and therefore a jolly work environment, we reckon we can at least be hitting the 200 mark. A happy work environment definitely breeds productivity and this is especially applicable when co-working with those around you. Hence, why community is at the heart of everything we do and the aim to get those pearly whites on display! The power of a smile ey. 

So what if that is the key. This world Smile day, we urge you to try engaging your facial muscles as much as possible, so what if you exude a slight maniac vibe? Now 400 may be slightly out of range, particularly on your first go, but a couple smiles every hour and you could be in for your best day yet!
