FAQ’s about the changes
As you may have seen the news broke this week that there will be some changes at the coworking space in Bury as of February 28th. We want to help you to understand the changes a bit more by answering a few of the questions we have been receiving this week. So here are some FAQ’s about the changes.
When will the changes begin?
The date we have in mind is February 28th – so near enough from the start of March.
Can I stay at my desk?
First and foremost, for our pre-existing members this is a resounding yes. If you have a fixed desk with us in The Coach House, fear not. Although changes are happening, we want to reassure you that they will not affect you or disrupt your work.

Will there be changes to communal spaces?
There will be a few changes to the communal spaces such as the kitchen, but they won’t be drastic. The most noticeable change that we will be having in the kitchen area is the regularity of resets within the kitchen area. As it is now, stock in the kitchen gets refreshed and reset everyday to stay on top of things, whereas this will now be limited to once a week. If you want to bring in your own milk, coffee, sugar etc in case they run out or you prefer your own specific brand, please feel free to do so!
When will cleaning happen?
Cleaning is set to happen twice a week as it stands now, which means looking after your space is something that needs to be considered.
Can I still use the event space?
The short answer – yes. It has been mentioned that the booking of the event space and meeting rooms will no longer be open to the public. However, the event space will still be open for our members to use should they need it.
Why are the changes happening?
We want to settle any worry anyone may have about this transformation being financially related, it isn’t. There have been many contributing factors to the making of this decision and we have been considering a ‘re-model’ for a little while. The changes we want to see happen in 2023 are a business venture and we are excited to see what is to come!
We are very grateful for the support each of our community members have given us over the years – even through a bloody pandemic!
