We have a variation of coffees available free to our members and a brilliant fresh filter coffee machine on the go throughout the day to give everyone that oh so important pick me up! Don’t fret however if you aren’t a coffee drinker or prefer caffeine free, we have options available to all.
Fancying a drink out? We understand the importance of a great cup of coffee and the need to take a breather from the office sometimes. So, we want to let you in on what we consider our top 5 coffee places around Bury!
Bloom coffee co.
A number one contender for our first brilliant cafe visit is Bloom Coffee Co. in the centre of Bury – 6 MARKET STREET, BL9 0AJ. Bloom is a specialty coffee house that serves Australian inspired cafe food and has an overall calming vibe to it. Whether you want to sit and enjoy a good coffee and some nice food, or you want somewhere slightly different to work from, there is a place for everyone. We personally cannot get enough of the ‘Bloom Shrooms’ and the ‘French Toast’. Bloom is also just a short walk from Newtons so a perfect location for a quick lunch break.


Wax and Beans
If you love music and coffee this is the place for you. Wax and Beans is another great coffee place located in Bury Town Centre that specialises in good coffee, good food and good music. They have a unique edge to them as they also double as a vinyl shop, in fact being Bury’s only independent vinyl shop. One great part of the wax and beans is that whilst you can enjoy a drink or some food you can also choose from the selection of pre-loved vinyls, play them on the turntables and listen to some of your favourite music. All of their pre-loved vinyls are also available to purchase, so if you fall in love with an album you don’t need to leave it behind!
Drinc
Going a bit further afield, Drinc is a rustic cafe in Ramsbottom that serves award winning coffee. They also have a selection of food, milkshakes and smoothies available and are just a short walk from a number of nice local walks as well as the famous East Lancashire Railway. Do you have a furry friend? Look no further, Drinc is a dog friendly cafe that also has free dog treats and water for your furry companion to enjoy.


The chocolate cafe
The Chocolate cafe is another cafe located in Ramsbottom, is a chocolatier cafe that sits on top of a chocolate shop and serves a variety of things from luxe hot chocolate drinks, gourmet coffee, leaf teas and light bites. Fancy a sweet treat to take home with you after a visit to the cafe? No problem, you can browse a variety of specialty chocolates and sweet treats from truffles to hot chocolate powders, and if you fall in love don’t worry you can subscribe to a monthly chocolate box.
Starbucks & Costa Coffee
An honorary mention for these two. We know them, we love them, they deserve a place on the list.
To most coffee drinkers these are the obvious contenders, are you team Starbucks or team costa? Costa is another great coffee placed located only a short walk from Newtons itself and caters to both a fast takeaway coffee as well as a sit in cafe experience. If you are a steadfast Starbucks fan and are loyal in your choice, fear not! There is a Starbucks in Ramsbottom just waiting to give you your fix. Even better, it also has a drive thru option, in case you are on the move.
