Coworking is simply working in an open space, usually with other people sharing facilities like desks, power, light printing etc. But there is more!
Coworking provides a community of like-minded individuals that you can talk to, network with and potentially trade with

When you take on a fixed desk we want you to make yourself at home.
Bring in screens, posters, and stationary and set yourself up.

Its the closest option we have to a private office space at Newtons so it is our premium coworking service, it does mean it isn’t the most flexible of our package, we as for one months up front payment for this package (one month fee+ one month fee) and a deposit covers the keys for the desks, the deposit is returned. We include a sign on all fixed desks highlighting that the desk is a ‘fixed desk’ and what that means at Newtons.
Where does one desk end and another start? We keep all our desks spaced out so each desk has a clearly defined space. The space which ‘counts’ as yours is basically the edge of the desks and then backyards by 1m. If this space includes a wall then it’s 2m from the floor up the wall where you can hang items.
Permanent fixings should be avoided so please don’t start chopping into floors, walls and windows.
