The QUEENS Jubilee
On June 1st we will be throwing a celebration for The Queen’s platinum Jubilee in honour of her 70 years of service! That’s right, Lizzie has been running the show for 70 years and we want to celebrate all that she’s done.
Some people may be wondering what the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee is all about? Queen Elizabeth’s coronation took place on June 2, 1953 at Westminster and is the first British monarch to ever celebrate their platinum Jubilee, making it a very special occasion.

How are we celebrating?
Now I know we must all be excited about the long bank holiday The Queens Platinum Jubilee allows us, and we wouldn’t want to clash with that! So We will be throwing a Queen’s Jubilee garden party – also the home of the Lifestyle by Homecare Services Bury office – on Wednesday 1st June from 12:30 – 4:30. The garden party will happen in Isaacs Yard at the back of Newtons and everyone is encouraged to attend, whether you are a member of staff, one of our lovely clients, a coworking community member or anyone else within the wider network who wishes to come along and join in with the festivities.
With incredible decorations supplied by Balloons Bury Tottington and a free graze table courtesy of Sweet and savoury Manchester, and there will also be an open bar for you to enjoy, stocked to the brim with all of your favourite beverages both alcoholic and non alcoholic.
We will also see the return of The Big Chair, Newton’s very own relic decorated and ready for every photo Op! We want to see them all! Just use the hashtag #QueensJubilee and tag us @NewtonsCowo.
