Explaining what Newtons is and how it looks and how it all fits together has always been something we struggle with. That is until we got Zeus 360 to come in and take a 360 tour of the spaces that we have at Newtons.
Newtons is an old furniture shop and has maintained a lot of its original features, these are what you see when you first enter the hub. Followed by (our floorplans) a room of mock Tudor in the middle of the building, then the main kitchen, event space and ending with the old stables at the back. On the upper floors, we have offices, and in the cellar is old Georgian vaulted ceilings – each space is unique so trying to explain that can be difficult and that’s the beauty of the 3D tour!
Why Have A 3D Tour
A 3D tour allows people to remotely view your offices, bars, restaurants, homes for sale etc. If you have a space, you want to advertise or promote it allows people to have a really good look from anywhere on any device. You can look at exactly what you want to look at. You have got full 360 degrees of freedom and chance to have a good snoop round!
A nice addition with the software used for the Newtons tour (Matterport) is the ability to add info pins of information where you click on them within the tour and it will present more information. Through this you can advertise facilities or facts within the tour, even just a little thing like you can pop a pin on a coffee machine and save it promoting the free coffee and tea available, we have a few through the Newtons tour.
Dollhouse View
Newtons is quite sprawling which is not obvious from the front of the property on The Rock. It goes up and it goes over adjacent buildings. So, when you get the dollhouse perspective, your kind of see how it all fits together essentially as a dollhouse.
When you click on the 3D view, it’s like holding the whole space as a small doll house in your hands, but you can rotate and look up from all angles and then you get to see the vastness of Newtons and any building or space mapped. See our doll house view here.
Another cool thing is that you can pick individual levels as well. So you can look at the basement without the first and the second floor and pick a spot to fly in to from the doll house view.

It gives the potential customer, a good impression of your company. You get to show them the space virtually before a visit and that you as a company are doing everything you can to help them out and increase your brand awareness and increase the level of care and communication – going the extra mile.
